The 2009 Sowers Symposium was held on Tuesday May 5th, 2009 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Keynote talks were delivered by Professor Professor Craig H. Benson (University of Washington, State of the Art Lecture), Dr. Robert Bachus (Geosyntec Consultants, State of the Practice Lecture), and Professor Thomas D. O’Rourke (Cornell University, Sowers Lecture).
